A mining enterprise has been using insurance cover provided by a number of different insurers acting in a pool and individually over the past several years. As a result of varying loss record, not more than two bids were submitted in periodical tenders. Additionally, during the last tender, insurers who had previously competed, agreed on arranging one pool. Since the Client feared of unfavourable insurance conditions offered by the new entity, we were requested to prepare a solution guaranteeing competitiveness and introducing other bidders.

In view of the enterprise’s specificity and size, our proposition was concerned with introducing another bidder who exploited reinsurance solutions prepared by Fincon. We created reinsurance based on the international markets for the purposes of this project. Consequently, two more offers of comparable quality were submitted for the tender, whereas our offer provided the Client with 12 million zlotys of savings during three years.
